Mason quietly returned inside.<\/p>\n
Lauren\u2019s eyes filled. \u201cDid I earn anything that day?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cEverything that mattered. You followed safety procedure after being knocked down. You treated another candidate\u2019s injury before checking your score. You finished the course without demanding special treatment. That is why I recommended the badge.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cBut I didn\u2019t defeat you.\u201d<\/p>\n
